
I changed my mind about
Cytomax and have stopped using it. I drank it at the "Death Ride" (129 miles, 15,000 ft elevation gain) and felt like I was dying. There is something in it that makes it indigestible. It caused abdominal pain, gas, cramping, and I spent a lot of time over the last 50 miles in the porta-potties. It may be OK taken in small quantities. It tastes good and therefore you may be likely to drink more than you would if you were drinking just water and avoid dehydration. But don't drink too much and don't drink it on a long ride. The negative effects far outweigh any possible benefits it may give you in terms of performance.
